Do therapists really analyze everyone they meet?

I’m a psychologist, but does that mean I’m analyzing everyone I meet?

If I had a dollar for everytime someone asks me if I’m “analyzing them’’ after I tell them my occupation, I’d be pretty wealthy by now. It’s an old cliche but in this case it’s true.
